This course will involved a heart Lung anatomy lab. it will use a lecture to discuss the anatomy of the heart and how that relates to the disease process.

This training will cover less used medications in the DMEMSD, Common Spirit, and Clear Creek EMS protocol sets. There is also a game to cover pediatric medication dosing.

June 2nd

Overview of oxygenation and ventilation physiology, including positioning, PEEP, pre- and apneic-oxygenation, two-thumbs down BVM, and negative pressure vs. PPV and the dangers of transitioning, followed by hands-on of all of the above plus suctioning, adjuncts, IGel and SALAD VL.
