Discuss evaluation, communication, triage, and assessment of mass casualty incidents in pre-hospital settings.

This is one of the 30 sessions provided for the 2025 Regional EMS Refresher hosted by CommonSpirit in collaboration with UCHealth and Children's Hospital. 

This course is a case review of a patient with a difficult airway, managed by surgical intervention. Case will highlight the importance of maintained competent in critical interventions, the use of a difficult airway algorithm, and lessons learned from complex airway case. 

This course will go through treatment and pitfalls of pediatric trauma.
