This class will introduce mountain rescue personnel to the setup, management and operation of improvised helispots and landing zones(LZs) in a safe and efficient manner. Participants will learn improvised helispots and landing zones (LZs), direct incoming/outgoing helicoptertraffic, understand ground-to-air communication protocol, and reinforce safety management.
