Effective coordination with partners is crucial to the success of search and rescue missions. We will discuss interagency relationships through the evolution of an incident. These will include sheriffs, emergency managers, other policy makers, incident management teams, emergency operations centers, joint information centers, state/federal agencies, and other support organizations. The goal is to increase understanding of these relationships so effective communications and support can be maintained as we provide critical search and rescue capabilities to our communities and beyond.
