This course will cover methods to rapid temporization and stabilization of critical medical patients prior to movement. Bring patients back to a relative hemodynamic and oxygenation/ventilation stability, and organize movement towards transport. It will discuss the use closed-loop communication with all team members. Practice positioning; oxygenation; ventilation; fluid bolus; push-dose/ epi drip; pacing; and cardioversion. Finish with the latest science on defibrillation.

This includes upper respiratory various causes of stridor such as croup, epiglottitis, bacterial tracheitis &  Foreign body airway obstruction. Lower airway disorders such as viral and respiratory infections, RSV, asthma and pneumonia. This course will discuss the signs and symptoms and EMS treatments for these disorders. This course will use a group table top activity, lecture and hands on skills to teach participants.

This course has three parts. The first part will discuss Scope of practice and legal issues that EMS providers need to be aware of and abide by. The second part of the course will go over scene safety and helicopter safety with Flight For Life then the third part will go over pt assessment, what to when you are first on scene, how to give a hand off report to ALS providers, & medications within your scope of practice for BLS providers

This course will discuss and demonstrate OB Field delivery, complications during delivery and care of the newly born infant which will include part lecture and part skills based. skills will include OB delivery, How to handle complications at birth and prior to birth, care of the newly born infant, case scenario and how to calculate APGAR scores
