DESCRIPTION:A full-day event of hands-on EMS skills, scenarios and small-group problem solving with Emergency Physicians and Paramedic instructors leading small-group skills stations in airway, trauma, cardiac, medical, neonatal resuscitation, ALS and BLS airway, Pediatrics, obstetrics, and cardiac arrest scenarios.

This course will involved a heart Lung anatomy lab. it will use a lecture to discuss the anatomy of the heart and how that relates to the disease process. Students will then use sheep heart and lungs and do a dissection lab to identify the anatomical parts of the heart and lungs and how they function and how the disease process affects these.
