Highland- Genesee-Foothills April 8, 2024 CE LECTURE ONLY Diamond of Death
This training consists of a Lecture & Skills portion. Lecture is on trauma resuscitation in the prehospital environment. It discusses aspects of the Diamond of Death which Include, hypothermia, acidosis, hypocalcemia & cogaulopathy. This includes managing the temperature of the patient and using warming, avoiding acidosis by limiting crystalloid infusion (consider whole blood in areas where available).
