Foothills Fire May 2, 2024 Equipment Familiarization

This training is to familiarized firefighter crews with ambulance layout and safety features. It will also cover location of equipment and medications in Highland Rescue three different ambulances, with the goal to help firefighter be more effective when assisting with patient care when on scene and during transport.

Learning Objectives

1. Be able to identify operations of Highland Rescue Ambulances and safety features of vehicle when riding in patient compartment assisting with patient care 

2. Be able to name and demonstrate where medications & medication administration equipment is located in the ambulance in order to be able to assist EMT's and Paramedics on scene with patient care

3. Be able to demonstrate where specific equipment is located in the ambulance how to use the equipment to be able to assist in patient care.
