This is a skills training and check off this course will discuss the BLS management of both Trauma patients and Medical patients. the course will focus performing trauma and medical assessments. Identifying & ways control external and internal bleeding with placing tourniquets and pelvic binders. It will focus on Medical assessments and how to administer BLS medications with consideration to indications and contraindications. This course will discuss IV administration for IV certified BLS providers.

Learning Objectives
Objectives:
1. Be able to identify external uncontrolled bleeding and hemorrhage control and demonstrate how to applied tourniquet
2. Be able to identify internal bleeding including determine a fractured pelvis and demonstrate how to use a pelvic binder
3. Be able to demonstrate how to perform a rapid trauma assessment
4. Be able to perform a medical assessment
5. Be able to demonstrate the indications and contraindications on administering aspirin and nitroglycerin on a chest pain patient
6. Be able to demonstrate the steps of CPR
7 Be able to demonstrate post ROSC care
