This training with review common Adult respiratory disorders including specifically COPD, Asthma and pneumonia. It will also discuss the use of ETCO2 as a tool. This course will include 2 group activities to help with solidifying the information into patient care.

Learning Objectives
Objectives:
- Describe the normal anatomy and pathophysiology of the adult respiratory system.
- Explain the significance of a "shark fin" style ETCO2 waveform as an indicator of severe respiratory distress.
- Demonstrate the standard treatment protocols for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Identify common complications associated with respiratory emergencies and describe appropriate prehospital treatment strategies.
