Acute Myocardial Infarction
Goals: AMI (Acute Myocardial Infarction- “Heart Attack”) is a life-threatening emergency causing cellular death of the heart due to blocked coronary artery. If AMI occurs it can cause a medical pulseless arrest, CPR with early defibrillation can save the patient’s life. Includes Denver Metro protocols for BLS and ALS providers for resuscitation.
