Target Audience

Firefighter EMT/first responders/paramedics affiliated with Black Hawk Fire Dept. 

Learning Objectives

-Complete the 2 Target Solutions Courses assigned prior to in-person training. (“Intro to Arrhythmias: Escape Rhythms and Premature Complexes” and “Intro to Arrhythmias: Tachyarrhythmias and Fibrillation”).

 

-Review of basic cardiac electrophysiology.

 

-Review ECG strips and interpret basic ECG Rhythms.

 

-Discussion of BLS interventions for different cardiac arrhythmias. (Defibrillation, Valsalva Maneuver, Breathing techniques).
