Case Review with Medical Direction
Our medical director, clinical coordinator and trauma coordinator lead a discussion reviewing significant cases from the last 8 months. Updates on these patients included clinical outcomes, CT and X-ray imaging pre and post surgical fix, the breakdown of our ALS cases and our total ambulance transports. Medical Direction reviewed the in-house policies, procedures and our adherence to Denver Metro Protocols. We discussed various topics with various patients - topics included, but weren't limited to: ventricular assist devices (pacemakers), cardiac arrest, CHF, trauma triage, CNS injuries, hemorrhage control, and ALS pain management.
