CCEMS-CCFA Aug 20, 2025 CE Pediatric Airway and Respiratory
This CE will discuss various common pediatric respiratory disorders. This includes upper respiratory various causes of stridor such as croup, epiglottitis, bacterial tracheitis & Foreign body airway obstruction. Lower airway disorders such as viral and respiratory infections, RSV, asthma and pneumonia. This course will discuss the signs and symptoms and EMS treatments for these disorders. This course will use a group table top activity, lecture and hands on skills to teach participants.

Objectives:
1) Be able to describe the causes of different types of stridor
2) Be able to name the differences between croup, bacterial tracheitis and epiglottitis
3 )Be able to demonstrate the treatment for pediatric wheezing according to the Denver Metro Protocols
4) Be able to demonstrate pediatric CPR
