This training will cover the fundamentals of an initial patient assessment to include scene size up, general impression, ABCDE, transport decision and vital acquisition.

CCEMS & CCFA EMS providers

Learning Objectives

Objective 1: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to demonstrate a comprehensive scene size up.

Objective 2: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to identify life threats in the category of Airway, Breathing and Circulation

Objective 3: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to demonstrate clear decision making of a patient in need of emergent vs. non-emergent transport.
