Review of gestation and normal, uncomplicated childbirth procedure with practice of neonatal resuscitation protocol. Hands on experience with birthing SIM mannequin and scenarios with post-delivery patient care.

Learning Objectives

Objective 1: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to identify the phases of gestation.

Objective 2: By the end of this training, the participant will understand the steps of normal childbirth with hands on practice.

Objective 3: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to describe the neonatal resuscitation protocol with hands on practice.
