EMR-EMT Providers Skills Workshop Feb 24, 2024
This Course is an in person skills day for EMR and EMT basic level providers. This training is specific to BLS providers. It is aimed at helping BLS providers increase their awareness, confidence & skills in patient assessment, patient care and their skills. This will be an all skills workshop. Topics will include patient assessment, cardiac arrest pit crew and Lucas device , Appropriate ventilation techniques including anatomy and physiology, hemorrhage control, fluid resuscitation, IV/IO skills, Whole blood administration, Assisting ALS with critical procedures, pediatric considerations, OB patient and field delivery, splinting techniques & BLS medication administration as per Denver Metro Protocols.
