Evergreen Fire (IH) Updated Airway: Introducing the Glidescope Oct 13, 23 and 27, 2025
Overview of oxygenation and ventilation physiology, including positioning, PEEP, pre- and apneic-oxygenation, two-thumbs down BVM, and negative pressure vs. PPV and the dangers of transitioning, followed by hands-on of all of the above plus suctioning, adjuncts, IGel and SALAD VL, specifically the Glidescope VL.

Learning Objectives
Objective 1: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to identify when to transition to PPV from passive oxygenation and ventilation.
Objective 2: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to describe techniques to ensure adequate oxygenation and ventilation.
Objective 3: By the end of this training, the participant will be able to manage a soiled and difficult airway at their certification level.
