This course covers how to recognize truncal hemorrhages. It also will cover how to managing external bleeding tint he trauma patient. The course will go over trauma skills with the participants including wounds packing, tourniquets, pelvic binders and splinting.

  1. Identify the organs & vessels in the torso
  2. Describe signs & symptoms of truncal hemorrhages
  3. Name why it is important to recognizing truncal hemorrhages early
  4. Describe BLS & ALS treatment for the patient with a truncal hemorrhages
  5. Name the importance of rapid treatment for the truncal hemorrhage patient
