This course is annual quality assurance and improvement with the Common Spirit Prehospital Services EMS Coordinator and EMS Medical Director regarding the of medical care of patients on 9-1-1 calls

 Objectives:

1) Describe the assessment of a critically ill trauma patient

2) Describe treatment for pediatric cardiac arrest and why airway management is important

3) Name why whole blood administration is important treatment in the hypotensive, tachycardic, multi-systems trauma patient.

4) Name the importance of complete documentation on a high risk refusal

5) Describe the treatment for V-tach

6) Name the the importance of documenting a RASS score when administering chemical restraints. 

7) Describe the importance of why recognizing signs of stroke early and rapid transport are important.
