Volunteer Basic Life Support focused Quarterly EMS training. This course will cover CQI review of calls which is a state of Colorado requirement.. EMS patient assessment, treatment and transport will be reviewed on sepsis, geriatric care, Traumatic injuries related to Falls & Motor vehicle accidents

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this training the participant with be able to:
1) Describe the signs and symptoms of CO poisoning
2) Name concerns with patient assessment in the geriatric patient
3) Identify signs and symptoms of sepsis and critical importance of early EMS treatment.
4) Describe considerations for calls with multiple patients
5) Identify importance of ongoing assessments in the trauma patient
