Field Impressions and Differential Diagnosis
Goals for this scenario-based training included forming a differential diagnosis for the patient based on objective and subjective findings (signs and symptoms). Based on findings a field impression is formed. Discussion and hands-on practice of tools used in patient assessment and resources available. Key objective to determine whether or not a life or limb threatening injury/illness is part of the differential diagnosis.
