Hypothermia and Cardiac Chest Pain
Identify the signs and symptoms of hypothermia and cardiac emergencies. Familiarization with the hypothermia wrap, how and when to use it, and special transport considerations for the hypothermic patient. Identify medications used to treat cardiac chest pain (for BLS and ALS providers) - their indications/contraindications. Discussion of transport considerations for the cardiac patient in an austere environment.
