Learning Objectives

Scenario and classroom based training on common traumatic injuries encountered by ski patrol.  Scenarios and subjects taught included focus on hemorrhage control, spinal/CNS injuries, pelvic injuries, and avalanche resuscitation.  Specific focus was placed on treating for shock and supporting patient outcomes in an austere environment.
