Mechanical CPR Devices: Review of the AutoPulse and Intro to LUCAS 3
Hands-on training on the LUCAS 3 and AutoPulse mechanical CPR devices. This training was meant to build upon a previous training from our medical director, Dr. Brockmeyer and from the Summit County Avalanche Seminar. This training was hosted by Flight For Life. Content is directed towards rescuers who maintain EMT-B certification, with protocols and direction from Centura Health and Dr. Brockmeyer; however the content of this training is basic and appropriate for all provider levels of SCRG. The training format is meant to be short: hands on plus Q&A. To support this the LUCAS-provided training video was sent to every individual in preparation for the training. 1. Review the attached LUCAS quick guide. 2. LUCAS 3 Inservice 5 minute Video - Prehospital 3. Watch Autopulse Video 7 minutes I also recommend, if you have any questions or more time, to see the full online training for LUCAS: Web training - LUCAS - Chest Compression System
