The CSAR State Backcountry SAR Coordinator Program consists of a group of 20+ highly experienced, volunteer Colorado SAR leaders
recruited from teams across the state. Our job is to provide resource coordination, situational awareness, and enhanced communication
amongst a wide array of SAR incident types when requested by a local jurisdiction and/or in support of our agency partners, including the
Colorado National Guard, Air Force Rescue Coordination Center and Colorado Dept of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. Find
