Stabilize and Evac Patient from Aerial Adventure Park
In the event a guest becomes incapacitated due to trauma, medical or psychological reasons while suspended and connected to the PPE of an aerial adventure park (commonly referred to as "AAP" or "high ropes course"), responders are trained to stabilize, treat life threats, detach and safely lower the patient to the ground. Skills used include but are not limited to: MARCH assessment, c-collar application, technical raise and lower of a person using rope systems rated for a rescue load. This training was organized and overseen by Luke Johnson, EMT and patrol training coordinator.
