Trauma Cases Review-Webinar 2023-WBT
This presentation covers the poly trauma patient with head and thoracoabdominal trauma. We will discuss the use of TXA in the prehospital environment as well as whether or not whole blood has any place in the prehospital environment.

- Overview of pediatric head trauma, spleen and liver injuries and pelvic trauma
- Know the signs and symptoms of spleen and liver injuries
- Describe a general understanding of the use TXA
- Awareness of life-threatening bleeding/injuries in minor mechanism
- Demonstrate an understanding of massive transfusion and Trauma Induced Coagulopathy
- Compare and Contrast Hemorrhagic shock vs Hypovolemic shock
