Learning Objectives

By the end of this class the student will be able to:

1. Describe the physiology of respiration.

2. Describe the 4 types of hypoxia

3. Perform a jaw thrust maneuver, head tilt-chin lift maneuver

4. Place an OPA, NPA, and SGA

5. Perform ventilation using a BVM
