Zebra’s, Ham and Honey-Webinar Week Session 4-January 30th 1500-1600 Hours
In EMS we are often educated to not look for “Zebra’s” This is one Zebra you will want to look for. This course will look at a common everyday item that has led to injuries and death of previously healthy pediatric patients. Most recent data shows that over 3500 patients are seen in hospital emergency departments for this problem every year in the United States. How can EMS recognize this problem? What can EMS look for when they encounter a patient who is affected by this “Zebra”? What types of treatment should EMS deliver to this patient?
Manzo, Jessica M is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.
