This session will review most of the commonly available airway adjuncts and review the normal anatomical structure and landmarks. We will move from the basics to the advanced airway management techniques and focusing on those difficult airways using LEMON or Mallampati predictive scoring to anticipate and prepare for those airways that will be problematic.

Volunteer Basic Life Support focused Quarterly EMS training. This course will educate the BLS provider in BLS skills and knowledge on patient trauma assessment. This course will focus on BLS skills including,  Hare Traction Splint, Spinal immobilization,  Cardiac arrest management, use of Lucas device, How to prepare and assist placing CPAP device &  Managing a BLS scene prior to ALS arrival

This course will discuss what LVAD's are when they are placed and what EMS providers can expect. This course will also discuss other cardiac devices including pacemakers and the various types, AICD both ventricular and biventricular and complications that EMS may encounter with patients whom have these. Atrial Fibrillation complications will be discussed as well as what the watchman procedure and what EMS may encounter in these situations.
