This course will cover methods to rapid temporization and stabilization of critical medical patients prior to movement. Bring patients back to a relative hemodynamic and oxygenation/ventilation stability, and organize movement towards transport. It will discuss the use closed-loop communication with all team members. Practice positioning; oxygenation; ventilation; fluid bolus; push-dose/ epi drip; pacing; and cardioversion. Finish with the latest science on defibrillation.

This will include presenting the latest science on trauma in a Power point Presentation as well as the following topics physiology, Golden < 20 minutes, Trauma Diamond, MARCHE, Tourniquets, Wound Packing, Airway, Decompression, Warming, EPIC Trial, TXA, blood, pelvic binder, arrest, helicopters. The second part will conclude with a hands-on multisystem trauma management skills , in small groups practicing related skills covered in the PowerPoint.
