This will be a presentation for EMS providers by Dr. Wesley Reynolds a Neurologist at St Anthony Hospital which is a comprehensive stroke center. This presentation will discuss the differences between ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, what stroke symptoms are and how they may present in patients. The presentation will then discuss key elements of Prehospital stroke care including stroke screening vs stroke severity tools and all the elements of a primary and secondary stroke assessment.

It will involve a short presentation and table top exercises including matching protocols up with correct indications and contraindications. Table top exercise with BLS medications. there will be a skills practice on BLS medication administration.
