This is dynamic skills Cadaver lab. The lab will cover anatomy in the airway, chest, abdomen and extremities. The course will discuss the appropriate placement of endotracheal tubes and other airway devices how to identify landmarks and technique and how to identify misplacement. How to appropriately use a video laryngoscope and correctly identify landmarks. The course will discuss cricothyrotomy, with identifying landmarks and technique.

This course will include a dynamic Case review by Cardiologist Regina Lee on a very unusual patient presentation, how the patient progressed during transport and what the patient outcome was. Additionally ,this course will discuss the newest illicit drugs that EMS needs to be aware of when encountering patients. What the pathophysiology of the these illicit substances and how to treat them. There will also be a discussion toxidromes, signs and symptoms and how to treat Patients with these conditions.
